The 19th Century-century Parisian occult community gave birth to an extraordinary initiatory system, hidden and obscure – until now. Joséphin Péladan (1858 – 1918) created a program for The esoteric path to self-transformation is based on artistic creativity and personal independence. It also focuses on soul purification. Peladan is famous now as an eccentric author of the French occult revival, but his occult curriculum has never before been brought to an English speaking audience – until now.
This course is a breakthrough. Sasha Chaitow, who is the world’s leading Péladan scholar and a professional artist, leads participants through the first level of the three-Degree system Péladan’s Order of the Rose+Croix of the Temple of the Grail.
This course covers the basics of the subject in a workshop format. The course includes lectures and (optional!) workshops. It also includes lectures and (optional!) initiation practices. This is the format for Each session:
☞ 1-hour lecture
☞ 15 minutes break / open floor question time
☞ 45 minutes of structured activities for small groups.
☞ 30 minutes group discussion/feedback time
☞ Additional written exercises or recommended reading can be done between sessions.
Each session lasts approximately 2.5 hours. Each session’s activities and discussion sections are optional. Participants have the option to either attend the lectures or skip the interactive parts. Participants who cannot attend live lectures can watch recordings or use the Facebook Group to follow-up whenever they have the time. All participants receive the entire package, which includes written instructions. for They can still benefit from the course if they continue to work with the material.

Péladan’s An initiatory programme is made up of three degrees. for Its goal is self. The first level is a ‘Neophyte’ Program with seven steps for self-development-Mastery of the world and ability to successfully break free from conditioning and society. To explore the second level, you will need to take 12 steps. ‘arcana’ The initiatory processes. The third level focuses on exploring a trinity spiritual elements that are advanced. ‘Triad of the Holy Spirit’ Or ‘The Occult Triodos’ (three-route). This route follows the Neophyte as previously mentioned. Level. The course will offer the two upper levels in the future. Attendance on this course is a prerequisite.-requisite.
Péladan detailed the Neophyte Level Collectively, seven manuals may be called Amphithéâtre des sciences mortes. The first three manuals were designed by respective designers. for Artists, men, and women. The next three deal with the initiate’s life within society, looking at politics, mysticism, metaphysics, and individualism. The seventh is The Science of Love (1911), includes reflections, and deeper discussion.
The course’s goal is to be as faithful and consistent as possible. Péladan’s Original structure, content, and intentions while translating his material to an accessible, usable format. It is based upon his Septenaries for The handbooks contain Neophytes arranged chronologically in order of publication. Volume 7 is however considered to be the final volume. Horses-serie These topics are covered in the introduction lecture. Then, they can be referred back to as necessary.

This lecture will present the main points Péladan’s It is the worldview it is based upon and its system. It provides a synopsis of the seven books, and an overview of how it is meant to be used according to Péladan himself.
►2. Septenary for exiting the Century (15th Feb.)◄
From Comment on devient Mage (1891), which Péladan designed for He addresses young men in his generation and explains what magic is and how to achieve it through mastery, willpower-discovery, and willpower.
►3. Septenary for exiting the World (22nd Feb.)◄
From Comment on devient Fée (1892), for young women. Péladan believed that women of his time were forced into severely artificial roles by society, distorting and restricting their true nature. Although the world has changed dramatically since the publication of the book many of his insights about the human self remain the same. His vision is revealed in the occult content, ideals, and occult contents. for humanity.
►4. Septenary for Exiting Nature (1st Mars.)◄
From Comment on devient Ar(t)iste This is his vision for 1894 for Artists are the spearhead for The spiritual awakening and regeneration for humanity. Directed specifically at artists, Péladan exhorts them to embrace their calling and learn to balance their will with intelligence, proposing that this is the way towards true creative genius.
►5. Septenary Day for the Macrocosm (8th Mars.)◄
From Le Livre du Sceptre (1895), this explores problems and questions surrounding how to live the life of an initiate while remaining within society, family life, and other calls on one’s priorities and conscience.
►6. Mystical Septenary (15th Mar.)◄
From L’Occulte Catholique (1898). Here Péladan dives deep into religious and metaphysical concerns, relating them to the process of self-Initiation and how to relate to the world, as described in the previous works. This is his best-known book. It is his most comprehensive synthesis and explanation of his occult philosophy. for The modern world.
►7. Ars Magna (22 March.)◄
From Traité des Antinomies (1901). In this volume Péladan aimed to reconcile and offer philosophical explanations for One may encounter contradictions when following the path of an initiate. He offers guidance and examples. for How to work with them, and deeper definitions of core metaphysical notions. This lecture is divided into five parts. The other sections will provide insight if applicable.

Dr Sasha Chaitow English is the only modern English-Language scholar who has completed an in-depth, academic study of the life and work of Joséphin Péladan. This was her topic. for In 2014, she completed her doctoral dissertation at University of Essex. Her work corrects several longstanding problems.-held misperceptions of Péladan, by going to the primary sources and placing the material in its context within the history of esoteric thought. Her academic studies are greatly appreciated. for The book will be published by Kamuret Press in late 2022. Theion Publishing also hired her to translate, compile, edit, and manage three anthologies. Péladan’s In the near future, employment will be a major focus. Sasha Has been studying Péladan’s work for over a decade, has published numerous articles on his work, and has lectured extensively on him at universities, public, and esoteric venues throughout Europe, including the Universities of Northampton, Zurich, Gothenburg, Madrid, Södertörn, Szeged; Masonic venues in Sweden, Greece, Lebanon, and Georgia, and cultural spaces in the UK and Greece. She is also a member on the Pansophers.com advisory committee and has published her own book. Unveiling atalanta: The Alchemical Initiation through Emblems the Atala Fugiens (2020). Pansophers sponsored the Rosicrucian Tradition Series’ first installment. Sasha Has been applied Péladan’s She has given instruction and ideas to artists, and has shown her works around the world.
