Course Description:
The course will introduce basic to advanced concepts & theory on the current sciences of fascia & how the connective tissues adapt to external stressors. All techniques, philosophy, theory & practicals have been cherry picked from various manual therapy’s branch, this to allow an eclectic approach to offering stretch therapy to clients who have acute & chronic pain(decrease pain), recovering or preventing injuries, & to improve both posture & overall wellbeing. During the course you will not be taught techniques, rather, concepts & methods to stretch the connective tissue, helping with

Course Aims:
This course aims to let students learn simple to intermediate anatomy of the body & the relationship between pain & movement, & how you can easily adapt the philosophy based techniques to your current practise. Learn how to do accurate assessments to help guide the session(s) just like you would a personal trainer making changes to a programme as they go along, making it personal. The course is geared toward increasing & honing the therapist’s palpation skills by giving you enough practise time in between on real clients during the supervised student clinic.

Pre- requirements
While there are no pre requirements, participants are encouraged to read up on anatomy terms & landmarks of the human body. The course covers anatomy landmarks which you will be tested on.
Testing process
Students are constantly being assessed during each student clinic & will be given very personal guidance & insight on how the session can be improved, both professional, & personal. Not being able to graduate with a provider certificate, means you will have to retake the full 7 weeks & pay the full amount.
Graduation requirements:
- Accurate orthopaedic assessments
- Ability to reason the approach & techniques used on certain conditions
- Explain the sciences, & benefits of functional stretch therapy
- Able to demonstrate & explain a stretch session
- Accurately name 3 landmarks from tester
- Mandatory to independently hold one full session without the clinic supervisor stepping in (7th week)
